Paper submitted to ATVA 2008

Posted in Academic/professional on May 11th, 2008 by thrane

Kim G. Larsen, Uffe Sørensen and my self, have submitted a paper to ATVA 2008 (The 6th International Symposium on Automated Technology for Verification and Analysis), to be held in Oktober in South Korea. The paper is a full length paper documenting the project on slicing for Uppaal, for which a short paper was published at AISPC’08. We of course do not know yet if it will be accepted or not – but we are keeping our fingers crossed.

Well, after a failed attempt to find the a source of the quote:

.. by applying the theory of really big numbers in reverse, we get ..

I found The Really Big Buttern That Doesn’t Do Anything, which is surprisingly funny. One might for example ask the same question as Dave Rogers ponders, “If a tree falls on the Really Big Button in the forest when nobody is there, does it do something?”.

Update: as this blog entry already is quite mad, I just want to remind you of the classical flash video “The end of the world“.
